Vico Milano: Milan’s new boutique hotel

From Tuscany to Milan, Neri Baccheschi Berti opens up a boutique hotel.

A new boutique hotel has landed in Milan, and this is the next best place you’ll want to check in to when visiting the city. Vico Milano was brought to life by Neri Baccheschi Berti, the same family behind the renowned Tuscan Castello di Vicarello. Seven are the suites that feature this accommodation whose concept is to combine the notion of a hotel and an art gallery;

Art and creativity have always been the driving force of this historic palazzo, located in Corso Genova 11, considering it used to house the Legnano bike factory and later the Bungai showroom. This heritage has been highlighted and reimagined through the hotel’s interior design; in fact, a lot of effort has been put into the furnishings; from the sourcing of the materials such as the moroccan style tiles in the bathroom to the tailor making of the furniture (the armchairs have been made to measure). These spaces were designed by the Sicilian architect: Giuseppe Alito.

Alongside the hotel, Vico Milano houses a library, a lounge and a speakeasy-style bar whose menu features Bacceschi Bert award-winning wines and an ample selection of cocktails.
