Chef Cannavucciolo introduces a hospitality project

Three resorts that differ in personality and location: apartments and beach club on Lake Orta, restaurant with accommodation in the countryside and six rooms with a sea view in Meta, Sorrento.

Chef Antonino Cannavucciolo and his wife Cinzia have launched Laqua Resorts Collection, with three hotels situated in different spots: By the Lake, in Pettanasco, Lake Orta; By the Country, in Ticciano amongst the countryside; By the Sea in Meta, Sorrento. The first two are entirely new and plan to open in Summer 2021, whilst the sea view resort, open since 2012, has undergone complete renovation.

Laqua by the Sea

Laqua by the Lake (image below), is due to open in July, is a residence with 16 apartments and 2 attics with kitchen, living room and terrace. The interior is an ode to nature, seen by the choice of colours and materials such as wood. This space also houses a fitness area, a spa and a beach club with a swimming pool, bar and live jazz with food signed by Cannavucciolo. The beach club will be open in May.

Special attention has been paid to Sustainability, in fact, under the design of  Primatesta Architecture, they have placed an implant that generates power and electric energy through a hybrid thermoelectric generator that uses excess lake water. Furthermore electric cars and chargers are available for the guests use.

The Countryside in Ticciano, on the Sorrentine Peninsula, is due to open in June. This is where the Chef is from originally and where he has decided to open his first restaurant. The restaurant will use only the highest quality ingredients from local producers or from the in-house farm. There will also be 6 rooms with sea view, garden, swimming pool, wine cellar and, soon, a wellness area.
