Casa Angelina, Praiano

Luxury is: overlooking the Amalfi Coast from the large, glass windows of your room; feeling as if you’ve found your home away from home.

From the top of a hill Casa Angelina overlooks the simple, traditional, picturesque houses of a fishing village, with a splendid view of the island of Li Galli and Positano.

Then, a staircase with 220 steps lead directly to beach, where guests have a dedicated area at the Beach La Gavitella ‘One Fire Beach’ . The hotel will provide complimentary Etro towels, sun beds, umbrellas and bottled water. The design ties beautifully with some ancient ethnic pieces combined with the dominating colour of white that enhances the sculptures of the Cuban artist Sosa Bravo made of colourful Murano glass, the paintings of the Argentine painter Patricia Valencia, and the fresco by Vincenzo Stinga.

The 42 rooms are also completely white, from the ceramic floors laid in a herringbone pattern like parquet, to the four-poster beds, to the ultra-modern furniture, the fabrics, the walls: a sunny, bright, dazzling white.

On the top floor, the Piano nel Cielo restaurant with terrace, stands out for its breathtaking location suspended between the sea & sky. Led by Chef Leopoldo Elefante, the cuisine features traditional flavours with a gourmet, unique flair. The hotel services include a gym, sauna, heated indoor pool with a jacuzzi, an outdoor pool and.. an organic garden!
