Villa Pisani Bagnolo in Lonigo, in Veneto, a few minutes from Vicenza and not far from Venice, is a perfectly restored villa designed by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio and now included as a UNESCO World Heritage Site “City of Vicenza and the Palladian Villas of the Veneto”.
It now houses an art collection curated by the owners, an impressive ancient kitchen and a portico overlooking a poetic park. On the top floor of Villa Pisani a two-room design suite can accommodate guests. Most of the rooms are in the Barchessa, a service builiding next to the master villa, where workers and servants? used to live. Now it has been transformed into a charming cuontry house woth cozy rooms, most of which have fireplaces and comfortable sofas.
On the ground floor there is the Osteria del Guà, a restaurant with a romantic dehors on the garden. The central garden leads to a bigger one with a swimming pool and a newly renovated Villino, a romantic escape for two.
