Nuovissimo e cosmopolita, un hotel sulla 47ma strada di New York ispirato nel design al palazzo di vetro delle UN
The Bernic Hotel, a new-build hotel located on East 47th Street in New York City, has announced that it will open on July 16.
The hotel comprises 96 rooms spread throughout 21 stories and is within walking distance of the Chrysler Building, Grand Central Terminal and shopping venues in Midtown Manhattan, Rockefeller Center and Times Square.
The property commissioned blind contour artist Ian Sklarsky to create works for the hotel’s interior, including the lobby, public areas and guest rooms. The designs were influenced by the nearby United Nations and the theme of eight “cities of the world.”
Guest rooms at The Bernic have radiant floor heating, bath amenities by Beekman 1802, en-suite Nespresso machines, Apple TV, Sterns and Fosterluxury beds, turndown service by Chocolat Moderne and a book collection curated by Strand Bookstore.
The hotel will also have an on-site eatery, Allora, serving a variety of house-made pastas, grilled whole fish and tableside preparations, such as Steak Diane and Zabaione. There is also The Bernic’s Sky Lounge affording views of the city skyline and offering up contemporary-style classic cocktails.
The Bernic is now taking reservations for its July opening, with introductory rates starting at $299 through Labor Day.
